We want to see you get messy with all the fixin’s in St. Louis with us. No need to get up early for this one, all we ask is that you come hungry. St. Louis is THE city for barbeque, and we booked the legendary Pappy's Smokehouse for a night of BBQ you’ll never forget, so let’s enjoy some brisket in this smoked meat mecca while we talk shop with a packed house.

Let us tell you about the meat on the bone. We enjoy cocktails, whiskey, and beer while the room fills up. There will be time for presenting to our guests and taking some questions. Then we pile smoked meats and sides onto our plates paired with another beverage. We can’t think of anything better to do in the great state of Missouri.

The name of our BBQ joint is a tribute to the late Jim "Pappy" Emerson. He was our brother, uncle, friend and mentor. Pappy kept things simple. He loved the outdoors and he worked hard. When people came to visit, he tried always to provide an atmosphere for great food and good times. A perfect description of Pappy's Smokehouse today. 

Prepared fresh daily, we serve the best Memphis Style BBQ right here in our conveniently located midtown St. Louis restaurant. We make it fresh for you, slow smoking our meats up to 24 long hours over sweet apple or cherry wood. Finish off your choice of smoked meat with a selection of three delicious BBQ sauces - Sweet Baby Jane, Original or HooDoo Sauce.
